Craig Arfsten – LPL Financial Advisor
Craig’s education and experience span several disciplines, from engineering, accounting to financial planning. In each of these fields he has distinguished himself with one of the highest designations offered, Registered Professional Engineer, and Certified Financial Planner.
Pursuing a lifelong interest in investments and financial planning led Craig to become a financial advisor with Smith Barney in 1998. More recently, Craig has associated himself with LPL Financial and the team at Capital Consulting now Prosperion Financial Advisors. This opportunity provided Craig with the independence, support and comprehensive platform to help clients with what he does best –listening to discover their wants and identify their greatest financial risks, before developing a comprehensive approach to meeting those needs.
Craig grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended California Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo, receiving a Mechanical Engineering degree in 1978. During his 17-year career with Mobil Oil, he progressed through several technical and managerial assignments. In 1995, Craig left Dallas and Mobil Oil, to move back to Denver. Craig worked for First Data Corporation prior to joining Smith Barney in 1998.
Craig enjoys the satisfaction that comes from taking on new challenges. His interests include cycling, skiing, tennis, sailing, woodworking, guitar and making Tiffany lamps.
