LOCAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR NAMED IN BARRON’S TOP ADVISOR RANKINGS
Prosperion Financial Advisor Named to Barron’s List

Prosperion Financial Advisors’ Steve Booren was the highest ranked financial advisor in Colorado with total assets under management of less than $500 million according to a Barron’s 2012 Top Advisor Rankings.

This is the fifth consecutive year an advisor from Prosperion has placed in the top ten in Colorado.

“I am humbled and honored to be included in Barron’s list for five years running,” said Steve Booren, owner of Prosperion Financial. “We continue to develop clarity, confidence and capability for our clients while improving client service.”

Released annually, the list includes the top advisors from around the country and ranks them on, “…the volume of assets overseen by the advisors and their teams, revenues generated for the firms and the quality of the advisors’ practices,” according to Barron’s.

“When I was young my mentors always told me to pick up a weekly copy,” said Prosperion Financial Advisor Greg Horstman. “Barron’s is a sophisticated magazine so it’s a real honor for Steve to be included.”

Booren was awarded the highest spot in the Colorado rankings for advisors managing less than $500 million in total assets. He was ranked number nine overall for the state.

“Our current size allows us to develop quality relationships with all of our clients on a one-to-one basis,” said Booren. “It may prevent us from ranking number one overall on Barron’s list, but we’re focused on providing clients with exceptional value and care beyond just the advice we give.”

Prosperion Financial Advisors has a different approach to a client’s finances said Booren. They focus on clients’ life goals and develop comprehensive financial plans to help achieve them.

A dedicated plan enables their clients to understand their entire financial picture and how their finances might enable them to spend more time pursuing their unique interests.

It’s a client-centered business model that’s working said Prosperion Financial Advisor David Morrison.

“By truly understanding our clients’ values and goals we can help them develop a financial road map that mirrors their true desires in life,” said Morrison. “Our clients tend to care about more important things than just their finances. They focus on their passions: time with their families, charity and giving back to their communities.”

Prosperion Financial is planning to grow in the coming months with the addition of several new financial advisors.

Factors included in the rankings: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work. Portfolio performance is not a factor. Securities, Advisory Services and Financial Planning offered through LPL Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor. Member FINRA/SIPC.
